Educational Director
Marsha M. Neumyer, BS, RVT, was associated with the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine where she served as assistant professor of surgery and Director of the Vascular Laboratory Section of the Penn State Vascular Institute from 1983 until December 2002. She currently serves as CEO and International Director of Vascular Diagnostic Educational Services and Vascular Resource Associates, international educational and consulting services in medical ultrasound. She is recognized internationally as an educator and for her contributions to the field of vascular technology. She was the 1997 recipient of the Joan Baker Pioneer Award given by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. She has represented both the Society of Vascular Ultrasound and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography on the Board of Directors of the Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories. She is a fellow and past president of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound and a fellow of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and currently serves on the Board of Governors of the AIUM. She has published more than 70 juried articles, 28 book chapters, and is the author of three forthcoming textbooks on vascular technology.
